The Swagtron Swagger folding electric scooter is an entry-level product with an incredibly affordable price point.

Swagtron is known for their affordable personal electric vehicles, but the Swagtron Swagger takes that paradigm to a new level. The Swagger comes with most of the bells and whistles seen on higher priced electric scooters, like the ability to fold, a carbon fiber frame, integrated lighting and suspension, but at a fraction of the cost.

Power - 250 watts

The Swagtron Swagger electric scooter has a 250 watt motor, which is enough power to get a rider up to full speed and even climb slight hills. Because the motor is placed in the front, it is somewhat prone to wheel slip, but its low power draw makes it quite efficient.

Speed - 15 mph

The Swagtron Swagger electric scooter has a max speed of 15 mph. This max speed can easily be achieved on flat ground with a full charge, but the max speed will drop slightly when climbing hills and when the battery is low.

Battery and Range - 15 miles

It’s unclear what the battery specs are on the Swagtron Swagger, but the estimated max range is 15 miles. The batteries are housed in the stem, which allows for a low profile, making the Swagger look almost like a regular

kick scooter. The internal batteries are also protected from dirt and debris.

Price - Starting at $239.99

Starting at $239.99, the Swagtron Swagger is incredibly affordable and offers some good value for the money. This electric scooter has integrated front lights that are fairly powerful, regenerative braking that feeds power back into the battery, front suspension and can fold up into a small package in just a few seconds. It also has three different speeds modes and cruise control.

Who’s it for - Riders on a budget

This feels like a good choice for those interested in trying out an electric scooter for the first time, but aren’t looking to empty their wallet. This entry-level electric scooter is great for shorter rides on flat roads with slight hills. If you want an electric scooter that won’t break the bank, the Swagtron Swagger is worth a look.
