Introduction:
Are you in the market for an electric bike that can tackle steep hills and rough terrain without breaking a sweat? Look no further than the Trax from Cyrusher. This bike boasts a powerful 750-watt Bafang motor, an LG 52-volt 20 amp-hour lithium battery, and full suspension, making this one of the most comfortable platforms I’ve ever ridden. At a price of $2,600, the Trax is a steal for commuters, casual riders, and off-road enthusiasts alike.
Motor:
First things first, let's talk about the motor. It's a 750-watt Bafang, which sounds like the name of a futuristic robot villain from a '90s sci-fi movie. But fear not, this motor is on your side and will propel you up to 28 miles per hour without breaking a sweat! Now, during our ride tests, I could consistently get 31MPH out of it, so if you’re looking for some extra power, the Trax has it. And if you really need a boost, the motor kicks out 1500 watts of peak power. That's right, this bike has more power than a T-90.
Battery:
Now, let's move on to the battery. This bad boy is an LG 52-volt 20 amp-hour lithium battery, which sounds like something Tony Stark would use to power his Iron Man suit. With 1,040 Wh, it should give you a range of up to 56 miles (90 km), which is almost enough to get you from one end of the island in Lost to the other. For you Losties out there, estimates are the island was about 37 miles from North to South, so the Trax could easily make the one-way trip.
Frame:
The frame of the Trax is made of 6061 aluminum, which is both lightweight and sturdy. It's also full suspension, so you can ride over rough terrain without feeling like you're riding a jackhammer. Plus, there are attachment points for accessories, so you can customize it to your heart's content. The Ranger and Trax from Cyrusher are pretty much the most comfortable Ebikes I’ve personally ridden. So, if comfort is your game, then Trax is the name! I’m better at slogans than whoever is running the PR for Olive Garden. I don’t think we need to poll that down in the comments.
Suspension:
Speaking of suspension, the Trax has both front suspension and air suspension in the rear. It's like riding on a cloud made of marshmallows. And the brakes? Logan hydraulic 180mm disc brakes. These things will stop on a dime, which is good news for those of us who tend to overshoot our destinations (I usually blame GPS). And if you’ve ever tried to ride into the frame and stop on a particular marker, you’ll know what I’m talking about here. All you other EBike content creators out there.
Drivetrain:
The drivetrain is Shimano 9 speed, which means you can shift gears like a pro (or at least pretend to). And the half-twist throttle is a nice touch. It's like having a secret turbo button on your bike. Now, as you know, I’m partial to thumb throttles, but the twist throttle here works well, and the fact that it’s an integrated unit with the half grip on the right side, means that you’re going to be able to maintain a better grip while riding overall.
Extras:
The Trax also comes with some extras, like a 250-lumen LED front light and an ergonomic cushion seat. It's like riding in a luxury car, except you're not stuck in traffic and you're getting exercise. Win-win. The bike also comes with mirrors, which we didn’t install, but if you’re into looking at yourself or the people you’re leaving in the dust, those are included.
Use Case:
So, who is this bike for? Well, if you're a commuter who wants to arrive at work looking like you didn't just bike there, this might be the bike for you. If you expect some incitement weather or need to arrive to work looking like you just stepped out the door, I’d recommend getting some fenders. If you're a casual rider who wants to enjoy the great outdoors without breaking a sweat, then this might be the bike for you. And if you're an off-road enthusiast who wants to conquer the trails with ease, this is the bike for you. No maybes about that one!
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Trax from Cyrusher is a powerhouse of a bike that will make you feel like you have superpowers. It's sturdy, fast, and comfortable, with enough bells and whistles to satisfy even the most discerning bike enthusiast. And at a price of $2,600, it's still a solid value for what you’re getting here.. So why not treat yourself? After all, you deserve it.
